STEP 1: You need to have a soil test done where the building is to be located. You need this in hand for the engineers to supply the footing design.
STEP 2: A $3500 deposit is required to start the drafting process. We offer the full service to put your mind at ease. We have a full time drafting firm that will contact you to go through any custom layout changes. Once the final design has been confirmed, we then proceed to run the energy rating/bassix certificate on the building. A site plan and the application form for your local council will be drafted and ready for submission.
STEP 3: Container Cabins will supply a fixed price contract on the final design and spec.
STEP 4: Signed engineering plans for footings/building/roof tie downs will be drafted.
STEP 5: You will receive the all necessary documents to lodge to council where your local council fees will need to be paid.
STEP 6: A local builder will be contacted to install footings and connect to services.
STEP 7: We fabricate the building
STEP 8: We transport the building to site.
STEP 9: Your builder installs the building.
STEP 10: you move into your brand new container home.

Shipping containers are the most cost effective building to transport. We supply nationwide and have transport depots across the country.
We also hold a rail license which enable us to transport to your closest rail depot, to save huge amounts in transport costs.
For example: We can transport a 20FT cabin from Brisbane to Sydney for $256.00 and from Brisbane to Melbourne for $560.00 normally to transport these distances the price would exceed $9,000.
